Lloyd L. Click papers, undated.

General description of the collection: The Lloyd L. Click papers contain a photocopy of his typed memoirs. He describes the training he received at Fort Sill, and mentions that he was a replacement in the front lines. He was glad to be assigned to the 82nd Airborne and felt that they were the best division. He recalls using a CG4A Waco glider during the operation to invade Holland and landing 10 miles from where he was supposed to. The Germans were good soldiers and they almost broke through during the Battle of the Bulge. During the battle, Click remembers marching for three days just to stay warm. He was on furlough in the United States on V-J (Victory over Japan) Day and he regrets not marching in the homecoming parade in New York City for the 82nd. He mentions several units and men while describing his time in the service.
